Jan Mészáros reflections on technology and society

About

Currently, I work as self-employed in the field of information systems and information technologies. I am a Ph.D. student at University of Economics, Prague, from 2010. My research is focused on the information systems security management.

In June 2009, I graduated my university studies with Master's degree of System engineering and computer science at the Faculty of Business and Economics. The main purpose of my blog is to share my work experiences, I have reached during my studies on the Mendel University in Brno (Czech republic) and I am going to share my future experiences too.

I have been participating the following projects during my studies. My roles towards companies mentined below are described in brackets (supplier as self-employed / employer):

• Multisite CMS with cross-site shareable content for the biggest producer of coatings in Czech republic "Barvy a laky Hostivař" (supplier),
• hardware server testing and Amazon Cloud testing through the work experience in Good Data company (employer),
• participation in the Mendel's university information system development in the E-learning workgroup (employer),
• ERP system development and maintenance for the Targo Promotion company (supplier),
• web application development for the Masaryk University Language Centre (supplier),
• coaching of the insurance enterprise information system development team in the Allrisk brokerage firm (supplier).

My  professional goal is to participate on upcoming projects at an operational management level. I want to increase my experiences at both of technical and leadership field and grow to be able to work at tactic and strategic level.
